In 2001, WiredWoods was evaluated using the following methods:
- Pre-and post camper
interviews assess motivation, attitudes and skills
regarding computers
- Camper work: independent
judges (professional web developers) examine final
group projects to assess camper creativity, technical
ability, and effort
- Class observations
- Teacher interviews and
written reflections
- Camper daily written
reflections
- Camper participation
in follow-on programs during the school year
